Installing & Registering with BlueBeam

In order to install the BlueBeam software, follow the steps outlined in this article:

1. You will need to download the installer from their website at BlueBeam.com/download. Click on 'Download for Desktop' underneath the 'Revu 21' banner (see below).

2. Once the installer has been successfully downloaded, contact your IT technician so that they can start the installer for you. You will not be able to start it yourself as an Administrator password will be required to be entered. The technician will get the installer started for you and get you through the initial setup, and the installer will take care of the rest.

At this point, as long as you've registered & created your BlueBeam account (done after receiving word that you've been assigned a license), then you don't need to do anything more. Once the installation is finished, you can log into BlueBeam with your GW credentials and you should be given access to all of the tools.

If you need to register your account:

- First, make sure you've put in a ticket requesting a BlueBeam license so that the IT department can get that setup.

- Once you've heard back that your license is assigned, check your inbox for an email from BlueBeam. You should see an email similar to what is shown below asking you to "register your BlueBeam ID," and you will want to fill out that form.

A single form will pop up for you to fill out when you click the link provided in the email. Follow the naming conventions mentioned when it comes to your display name, and make sure to use your Gridworks email as the email associated with the account you're registering (else you won't have a license for your account which is needed).

Once you've created and registered your account, and verified it with the subsequent email that BlueBeam sends you, then you've done everything you need to! You should be good to log in with these credentials as long as BlueBeam is successfully installed.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your IT Department for assistance.
